A returning native of New Orleans, Erania is thrilled to be back home where she belongs. She has years of experience working with nonprofit organizations. She came to People’s Housing+ from Volunteers of America where she worked as Medical Respite Program Manager for the homeless, and before that, Property Manager of the Canal SRO transitional living facility. Erania takes great pride in the work she did with VOA helping residents that were once homeless transition into getting permanent housing with Section 8 vouchers from HANO. While in Houston, TX she worked as the Social Services Case Manager where she provided financial assistance to members in the community that were in need of temporary financial help with utilities, rent or mortgages. Also helped with feeding the hungry, back to school events, and finding shelters for those that needed it. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology at the University of New Orleans. Erania has a background in property management, real estate and real estate investing. She is a licensed Texas Real Estate Agent. Her passion is helping others by being an advocate for those in need of affordable housing. Her knowledge and desire to assist clients achieve the “American Dream” of owning a home or investing in a property is what gives her joy.  She cares about the clients and their needs.
